<JordanBrown> This would not be near the top of my list of language clarity issues.

<linext> can openscad anti-alias the preview?
<gbruno> [github] kintel pushed 2 modifications (Sanitize polygons coming from Manifold) https://github.com/openscad/openscad/commit/258415cee2d01c93a3a85fcbc62c23426460090b
<gbruno> [github] kintel synchronize pull request #5076 (Use Manifold's Slice() and Project() to implement projection()) https://github.com/openscad/openscad/pull/5076
<kintel> linext No, it's not trivial due to how the preview algorithm works. We'd have to render 4x the size and scale as a postprocess I think
<kintel> ..but I haven't read up on OpenGL AA for a while..

<guso78k> https://imgur.com/a/rIdZdnR InPhase this looks most promising, but i dont know, how to unwind the knot ;)
<JordanBrown> Looks like a pretty usual Bézier patch error... I saw a lot of them working through my demo. :-)
<JordanBrown> kintel, note the bitwise-operator question above.
<JordanBrown> Bedtime now...

<InPhase> guso78: I don't know. It looks like one of your modifications swapped some ordering on the xz axis.

<guso78k> added some Transformation matrices and now it works like a charm

<Guest77> Hello I have a problem with the OpenSCAD version 2024.04.01 (git f2d4c1b62). It shows only a 200 on the axes as smallest one, if I zoom into no finer numbers comes anymore. The next problem is the rotation on a Mac touchpad with 1 finger pressed down and the second finger to do the rotation. This is only working when I zoomed far out, but when I
<Guest77> zoom in under 200mm then the view changes to much and the rotation is absolutely weird. Is there an option that I miss, coz I installed this version 2 days ago. Before I had a development snapshot from 2023
<Guest77> ok seems I have solved it... I found button "Reset View" and now it behaves normal
<teepee> strange, I'm not aware things changed in that regard.

<InPhase> teepee: That issue has been around forever, if you zoom out and in, strafing your object as you go, eventually you'll end up with axes that shrink in their extent.
<InPhase> teepee: We experienced users are just so accustomed to resetting regularly. :)
<teepee> hence the "strange" as the issue is older than dev snapshots from 2023
<InPhase> Post hoc ergo propter hoc.
