<kintel> joseph_: Which timezone are you in? I'm in EST, and I'm generally available 9 AM to 5 PM EST, but I'm not always on IRC as it's as different computer than my work computer. We can find a way around that though

<joseph_> kintel: This summer I will be in central time (USA). Usually during the summer I sleep late and do my work in the afternoon/evening, but this is a matter of preference. So if I need to shift it earlier, that's fine. I specified the time in UTC because I think teepee and some others who I may consult are in farther away timezones

<guso54> https://imgpile.com/i/9iwKU1 its working!. overlap only selects the elements, which are completely inside the given cylinder.
<guso54> This is done by doing an intersection and then finding out, which result objects are identical with orginal ones ...
<gbruno> [github] gsohler synchronize pull request #4601 (Python delivered in tiny bites) https://github.com/openscad/openscad/pull/4601
<guso54> overlap can  be used e.g. to select the "good" holes e.g. venting holes in a surface

<Lagopus`> how are all these nbsp's getting into your irc input?
<InPhase> How are you spotting it? :) I had to fire up a hex dump of the log to confirm those were nbsp's.
<InPhase> And to your earlier comment, yes, it truly is an awesome program. I didn't even want to buy a 3D printer until I figured out OpenSCAD existed and had the general properties that it did.

<Lagopus`> I'm in a tty (tty3) running an emacs server. They all show up as pink blocks
<Lagopus`> guso, cl, and j23 all sending nbsps through
<Lagopus`> maybe it has to do with mobile auto-completion
<Lagopus`> long stretch, but if they each were on a smartphone hitting an autocomplete, the complete could be appending a nbsp onto the completed word
<J26> webclient ..

<InPhase> Lagopus`: Ah. I'm doing irssi inside of screen, and it all just renders as spaces to me.
<InPhase> That is a weird thing for a webclient to do though. It's not the way of IRC.
<Lagopus`> I liked irssi a lot. Unfortunately the ringing tinnitus of emacs is ever growing and dominating
<InPhase> Lagopus`: Yeah, everybody has an OS preference, and I guess that's yours.
<Lagopus`> ok so the webclient will alternate nbsp's if multiple spaces are used
<teepee> joseph_: I'm in CEST, so midnight UTC is already pushing it a bit for starting a discussion - that's 2 a.m.
<teepee> joseph_: so I'd say I'm mostly around first half of that time window you mentioned :)
