<J1A8495> InPhase the children are extruded.  The Loop is just placed  so the origin is the point where the "legs" would meet, at the moment it is symmetrical

<teepee> looks great. what's the yellow? painted?
<J1A8495> yes white primed and neon yellow nail polish (in theory a filament inlay would be possible too) ..  as the ratchets have direction you know what side is up
<J1A8495> the paint is applied coarsely and after drying  scraped with a blade and sanded a bit .. as the color stay in the groove
<teepee> does it need a smaller nozzle for those fine groves?
<J1A8495> the grooves  doesn't care as it is a void .. the side walls that  restrict it matter .. but should work with 0.4 nozzle
<J1A8495> it may loose one layer at the top but shouldn't matter
<J1A8495> depth is .5mm
<J1A8495> looks ok sliced with .4 https://pasteboard.co/NCrxsDYYhqJU.png
<teepee> cool, maybe I'll try that sometime :)
<J1A8495> you also could use a doodler pen and then scrapping and sanding the surplus away
<J1A8495> or just let the extruder extrude  in mid air and move that part with your hands
<J1A8495> a thin inlay with over extrusion could also work via the slicer  - but  paint is the fastest
