haha, you're having a lot of fun with that example
<InPhase>
I practiced painting for a little bit some time ago. But this is more my kind of canvas. :)
<InPhase>
(The goal of the painting was to relax and get out of the work headspace, rather than any daydreams of becoming an artist.)
<InPhase>
(Which this now does better.)

Scopeuk: *chuckle* It will do especially bad at bed adhesion since I left the bottom rotating slightly out of plane. :)

part of me has now self nerd sniped and wants to try it

Scopeuk: The requirement is obvious. You need to print all 1500 frames, then arrange a long belt with stepper motor control and a narrow viewing window, so you can rapidly move them into position and pause to create a realtime stop-motion animation sequence.
<Scopeuk>
print in tpu, set the supports to rectilinear such that they run accross the wide chord, wire chords up to head, animate with a rocking cam setup
<InPhase>
Hmm. I just realized how conspicuously OpenSCAD is missing a "View Full Screen" option.
<InPhase>
I hadn't thought much about it as I very rarely manage to make animations that run well in realtime. I think the waddling duck way back was my last non-trivial one that worked well in realtime, and now this.
