<Entei[m]> I started building binutils on 8 core VM in afternoon. It's still running lol. I didn;t see %check sections, and I started building with --nocheck anyway.

<davidlt[m]> That's taking long on the VM.

<dtometzki> Does anyone know when the new version of licheepi4a will be available ? 16and16
<davidlt[m]> I was told sometime in June.
<davidlt[m]> I always look at those dates as expected dates, but things might slip due to various reasons.

<palmer> davidlt[m]: conor says you're not in #riscv? maybe something's up with Matrix?

<davidlt[m]> I think, I don't have riscv on Matrix, just on old school IRC client.
<davidlt[m]> Let me figure out how to join it.
<davidlt[m]> Will have to wait until tomorrow.
<davidlt[m]> Kinda lost in the mobile client.
<conchuod> meh, I am here now
<conchuod> Also, I usually just DM you & that was dead when I tried earlier.
<conchuod> davidlt[m]: I was just complaining about being dumb and not writing down instructions in #riscv for how I did things before:
<conchuod> "Been trying to update my nfsroot to the latest f38 stuff from davidlt's builder, can't remember for the life of me how to properly extract the filesystem from the raw image so that it doesn't ruin file permissions.. One way fails to boot, one has a broken sudo :/"
<conchuod> The issue was totally a user error though, I had put the new nfs root behind a symlink, which was breaking things. And the solution to sudo, is to use root always, like I did with my old nfs root.
