I started building binutils on 8 core VM in afternoon. It's still running lol. I didn;t see %check sections, and I started building with --nocheck anyway.

I always look at those dates as expected dates, but things might slip due to various reasons.

davidlt[m]: I was just complaining about being dumb and not writing down instructions in #riscv for how I did things before:

The issue was totally a user error though, I had put the new nfs root behind a symlink, which was breaking things. And the solution to sudo, is to use root always, like I did with my old nfs root.
