<davidlt[m]> kernel is still cooking and there is snow outside :)
<davidlt[m]> Oh
<davidlt[m]> JH7110 v2 from Hal Feng was sent out.
<davidlt[m]> Time for a cold walk in the morning to wake up :)

<davidlt[m]> kernel and kernel-tools are done
<davidlt[m]> Still need to update a couple of more packages before generating distro repo

<davidlt[m]> nirik: I saw you touched koji-containerbuild
<davidlt[m]> This one has a very specific requires:
<davidlt[m]> python3.11dist(jsonschema) = 3.2
<davidlt[m]> but the final version of python jsonschema in F37 is 4.10
<davidlt[m]> So the package doesn't install at all
<davidlt[m]> Basically since 2022 Jun 27
<nirik> I thought I fixed that.

<davidlt[m]> Interesting that a different subpackage (builder) has just requires on python3-jsonschema with no specific version.
<davidlt[m]> This does not seem to be explicitly listed in the *.spec, so these are automatically generated.
<davidlt[m]> usr/lib/python3.11/site-packages/koji_containerbuild-0.16.0-py3.11.egg-info/requires.txt:1:jsonschema==3.2.0
<davidlt[m]> koji-containerbuild-0.16.0/requirements-devel.txt
<davidlt[m]> from the source tarball requires 3.2 version
<davidlt[m]> Conan Kudo: why is that Fedora doesn't have these validation step?
<davidlt[m]> *.pc files are also broken :/
* Eighth_Doctor shrugs
<Eighth_Doctor> I don't make everything
<davidlt[m]> There are more stuff that just puzzles me constantly building the whole Fedora, but I just learned mostly to ignore it.
<Eighth_Doctor> I have my hands full with the stuff I'm working on now 😅
<Eighth_Doctor> long term goal is to make it possible to trivially correctly build Fedora any way you want
<davidlt[m]> nirik: this is not an issue with koji-containerbuild-1.0.1-1.fc38
<davidlt[m]> Do you plan to build and land that in F37?
<nirik> davidlt[m]: like I said, I thought I fixed that. i can look in a bit, but I am fighting fires right now.
<davidlt[m]> nirik: sorry, stupid Matrix IRC bridge didn't deliver your initial message (just double checked with IRC client)
<nirik> oh, weird.
<davidlt[m]> Is your plan to land koji-containerbuild-1.0.1-1.fc38 in F37? In that case I will not wait and just build it in Fedora/RISCV :)
<davidlt[m]> Otherwise I can wait for whatever fix happens :)
<davidlt[m]> Yeah, Matrix IRC bridge misses messages and sometimes deliver them in a wrong order!
<nirik> I can sure....
<ol> <davidlt[m]> "nirik: sorry, stupid Matrix..." <- I would advise everybody to switch to Matrix side and finally forget about this outdated and deprecated IRC.
