<serpente> steam port is borked since last update, looks like it relies on the need for 32bit libmount.so.1 which is not shipped in util-linux-32
<cruxbridge> <tim> i dunno, works for me
<cruxbot> [contrib/3.7]: qownnotes: 24.5.4 -> 24.5.6
<cruxbot> [opt/3.7]: snappy: 1.2.0 -> 1.2.1
<serpente> hi Tim, have you tried it lately?
<cruxbridge> <tim> yep
<serpente> it happened recently, i believe valve update their runtime and now it need that lib
<serpente> hmmm.... thats strange dude
<cruxbridge> <tim> i am usually hugging the beta channel and use the native runtime, but i just started the non native client and it ran as well
<serpente> i tried both, none got to work... i also deleted the .steam and .local/share/Steam and still happens
<cruxbridge> <tim> no idea if I'm still getting that update, but if I do, be sure I'll update stuff. But my better guess would be that you might need to rebuild a port or two for the util-linux switch to meson
<serpente> ok, will try that
<serpente> i dont have much time now but i come back later with the results, ty anyway

<cruxbridge> <tim> this ist the script I use to rebuild ports that depend on now missing la files

<cruxbridge> <tim> https://git.crux.nu/ports/compat-32/commit/0752542865d02acbb93ccc78021b54cd174d1d4e and this is the diff that tells you which la files you should run it with, e.g. rebuild-lib libmount.la
<serpente> interesting, thanks for sharing it
<cruxbridge> <tim> it's pretty freely floating around from different authors in different versions around here. you pick it up sooner or later the longer you stick around.
