<SiFuh_> Anyone successfully compile the 5.15.x kernel ?
<SiFuh_> Takes me more than 4 times the time to compile than 5.12.X and always errors out
<frinnst> no problem here. also took about the same time to build. What's the error?
<SiFuh_> Reminds me of the 2.4.x days
<frinnst> upstream are generally very keen on eliminating any type of build problems and they also have heavy testing on this. surprised something slipped through
<SiFuh_> frinnst: can't remember, will let you know when it turns up again as I am sure it will
<frinnst> if it's indeed a kernel issue i'm sure they would like a bug report.
<SiFuh_> Feels like I am compiling on an Pentium 5
jue has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer]
<SiFuh_> It is still doing the 3rd compile and I started the first at 13:20 and it is now 21:00. That's insanity

<farkuhar> Romster: with SPIRV-Tools getting a new release 15 days ago, the URL in the current ports tree (v2021.3) doesn't work anymore.

<SiFuh_> frinnst: https://dpaste.com/FLMREPBZG <-- My error message
<SiFuh_> I am pretty busy to worry about setting CONFIG_SECTION_MISMATCH_WARN_ONLY=y so I will look into it a little later.
<SiFuh_> Probably Sunday

<farkuhar> It looks like github has changed their url-rewrite configuration, affecting not just spirv-tools but other ports too. I just got 404 Not Found errors for intel-tbb and glm.

<SiFuh_> frinnst: yes make clean every time
<SiFuh_> Actually the only reason I was updating was for the virtualbox port to make sure it compiles against it

<SiFuh_> frinnst: I think I know what it is
<SiFuh_> Section mismatch in reference from the function prepare_command_line()
<SiFuh_> Maybe I have some options that are no longer neccessary in the compiled command line section
<SiFuh_> I can just remove the entire line and add it to syslinux.conf again.
<elderK> Hey guys, has anyone encountered a weird issue where there seems to be a strange input lag on the keyboard?
<elderK> It doesn't always seem to occur but when it does, it's very aggravating. System load is okay, occurs even when there's no Firefox and stuff.
<elderK> The keyboard I'm using is a Microsoft Wireless Office 900. That is a bluetooth keyboard, but that fact is hidden by a little USB dongle.
<elderK> Starting to wonder if it could be the bluetooth that's causing it, or maybe batteries.
<elderK> Any ideas?
<elderK> There are no menacing messages in dmesg or in Xorg's logs.
<elderK> So, I'm stumped.
<SiFuh_> I get it sometimes, but only when I type to fast under load
<SiFuh_> You are using one Wireless device?
