ivandi: you mentioned that wine to firefox copy/paste worked for you in wayland, do you have any kind of clipboard manager or special WM/compositor config for that?

i have wl-clipboard installed, not sure if it makes a difference

btw, the middle mouse button doesn't work (it works in wine and in firefox, but not from one to another)

Yeah, I still have no way to copy/paste from one to the other. wayland<->wayland works, xwayland<->xwayland works... but nothing between

figured out a manual way with xclip and wl-copy/wl-paste but it's ridiculous to do that manually

it sounds like there's a missing bridge between wayland and Xwayland.

I can see why Mint is still using X... This would be a disaster for regular users. They wouldn't understand why they can't copy paste between some software apps.
