beerman, jue: are opt/paper and contrib/libpaper meant to coexist? It looks like they provide basically identical content, just organized differently: http://sprunge.us/RhBvmc
<farkuhar>
each of them is a dependency of some higher-level port: psutils in the case of paper, texlive and libreoffice in the case of libpaper. Maybe texlive and libreoffice can be built against opt/paper instead, which would make contrib/libpaper redundant.
<farkuhar>
i just tested and got a successful build of texlive (after uninstalling contrib/libpaper and updating opt/paper to its latest version).

i dunno, if it works fully i can drop mine
<beerman>
i think that i tested it once a long time ago and it didn't work but I am not certain about it so /shrug
<farkuhar>
if you tested it a long time ago, i'm not surprised it didn't work. The latest commit that jue pushed indicates a substantial overhaul of the package footprint: https://crux.nu/gitweb/?p=ports/opt.git;a=commitdiff;h=2ab8820b55b019748b5a17c9332b700286796042
