<moto-timo>
but if you are not using the linux-yocto framework KERNEL_FEATURES is not in the game.

moto-timo: do I *have* to use KERNEL_FEATURES? Maybe that's why I have a mismatch with my foo.cfg fragment
<moto-timo>
vvn: no, if you have a valid fragmen you can probably just add it to SRC_URI for you kernel recipe, but you need to tell us more to help you
<moto-timo>
vvn: for instance, if you are staring with a defconfig, it changes everything
<vvn>
I write a foo.cfg fragment that I've added to SRC_URI. The kernel compiles fine but bitbake silently rejects CONFIG_DM_VERITY apparently
<vvn>
hum yes, the BSP is using a defconfig
<vvn>
it defines KBUILD_DEFCONFIG
<moto-timo>
well, for instance you can use DELTA_KERNEL_DEFCONFIG_prepend_mx6 or DELTA_KERNEL_DEFCONFIG:prepend:mx6 depending on which YP release you are working on.
<moto-timo>
but you didn't state your bsp or which kernel or anything that helps us help you
<moto-timo>
which YP release? which layers? etc. etc. we do not know what you are doing.

moto-timo: you know better than me what info you need
<vvn>
I'm using meta-renesas on dunfell
<vvn>
I see no occurrence of DELTA_KERNEL_DEFCONFIG in OE-Core

Hello everyone, I have a quick question regarding python3-sqlite3, I am at kirkstone, trying to add it but bitbake is saying "python3 PROVIDES python3-sqlite3" but at runtime there is no module sqlite3 when trying to import it.
<RP>
bhstalel: you probably need to add the python3-sqlite3 package to your image

RP: I'm tempted to try and build the hashequiv container image in OE instead of using a dockerfile. But I suddenly realized that would mean a recipe that pulls in bitbake using bitbake and my head exploded

<abelloni>
DvorkinDmitry: this is python so I guess writing a recipe should be straightforward
<abelloni>
however, I'm personnally using the docker images directly as it is easier to later upgrade HA
<DvorkinDmitry>
abelloni, it is not so easy. I'm using github.com/meta-homeassistant/meta-homeassistant.git, it builds but have startup probkem, says ""ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'orjson.or
<DvorkinDmitry>
json'
<abelloni>
do you have python3-orjson on target ?
<abelloni>
it is listed in the rdepends but I'm not sure where the recipes is coming from
