<azonenberg> mac: yeah it might not be a bad idea to make such a probe at some point. the AV1 is optimized for ultra low capacitance to improve loading on AC signals
<azonenberg> lain: great to hear
<azonenberg> nothing super pressing. i've been working on cursors
<azonenberg> and markers
<d1b2> <azonenberg> Had a nice visit yesterday. Got to chat with the service engineer who worked on my 16G scope last time I sent it in, get a tour of the production area, check out their probe cal fixture
<d1b2> <azonenberg> and meet a bunch of their firmware engineering folks and chat about performance and gui tweaks
<_whitenotifier-7> [scopehal] jggj-c forked the repository - https://github.com/jggj-c
<_whitenotifier-7> [scopehal] jggj-c opened pull request #713: new file: .gitignore - https://github.com/glscopeclient/scopehal/pull/713

<electronic_eel> azonenberg: are lecroy seeing the need for separate scpi / data channels and want to do something in that direction? or is scopehal too unusual compared to what other customers do?
<electronic_eel> and do they have any scopes with sfp+ / sfp28 / qsfp+ etc. in development?
bvernoux has quit [Quit: Leaving]
<azonenberg> lain: are you jjg-c?
<azonenberg> electronic_eel: They sounded interested and took a bunch of notes
<lain> azonenberg: ?
<d1b2> <ehntoo> I think jggj-c was probably only intending to do a merge request for the final commit that adds .DS_Store files to the .gitignore
<lain> on my macs I prefer to do that in ~/.gitignore_global, then add that as an "excludesfile" under [core] in ~/.gitconfig
<d1b2> <ehntoo> same.
