<pkap> I made my first river client and zig app: A overlay thing inspired by the treetab layout of qtile. Basically it's novakane's agertu with some changes. https://github.com/pmkap/river-view-overlay .
<pkap> I made a video to demonstrate the use case, in case somebody is interested: https://0x0.st/-CO0.mp4
<pkap> Will something like this be possible with the planned protocol?

<ifreund> pkap: yeah, for sure
<pkap> ifreund: cool!
<novakane> pkap: nice! I'll look at it later, cool to see more zig/wayland project
<pkap> novakane: Thanks! It's very basic though and not really usable. I just wanted to experiment with zig and river. I will probably continue it when the new river view management protocol is implemented.
<pkap> agertu is a great base to build upon, so thanks for that :)
<novakane> pkap: glad it help, that one of the main reason I did it :)

<kindablue> has anyone got a way to have an indicator when you enter a mode?
<kindablue> I have a powermenu mode that I've created and have accidentally entered it at times
