<chipps_>
Okay guys I think I have a problem. I have a new archlinux install, and I can't seem to run river anymore. This is the error message I'm getting: http://ix.io/3HMZ
<chipps_>
I am able to use gdm to login to xfce, where I am right now. I don't see what the problem with the gpu is. I'm using x11 just fine
<novakane>
chipps_: dou you have mesa installed?
<chipps_>
novakane: yes. I think I have them installed
<novakane>
you're using nvidia?
<chipps_>
yes. I am using the proprietary driver
<chipps_>

<novakane>

you must not be using the standard arch linux kernel then...

the proprietary nvidia driver has always required kms to be explicitly enabled
