mps: huh, you're right. it's right there in my logs too
<mps>
btw, is this pwmdac useful for sound? I have doubts
<mps>
or it is more beeper
<Esmil>
i have a 16kHz wav file with music and that plays ok with aplay. pulseaudio will automatically resample, but paplay still plays with some glitches
<mps>
hmm, this sounds as good for pwm and dac combo
<Esmil>
it would be cool if someone would give the i2s driver some love so we could have hdmi audio
<mps>
I will use board for testing and adding some thingies on GPIO header so for me audio is not important

mps: i don't see why musl should change it, but if the distro doesn't package a cross-compiler then yeah, you're out of luck
<mps>
Esmil: yes, alpine doesn't have cross compilers
<mps>
that is the reason we didn't released riscv64 officially yet
<Esmil>
..but if you're renning lxc already then you should almost be able to bootstrap a small arch/debian/fedora and cross compile the kernel faster :P

I used debian in lxc long time for arm build and development, but that was before I become official alpine developer
