<ScottBakula>
good to see people already using irc !
<PaulFertser>
Hey!
<ScottBakula>
i found the server because i am looking for informations regarding openocd and the linksys wrt54g, i am in cybersec and learning about iot reverse engineering.
<ScottBakula>
i was trying to halt the cpu on this board but it seems it's not so easy
<ScottBakula>
do you know what it means : > halt
<ScottBakula>
MIPS32 only implemented
<ScottBakula>
target halted in MIPS32 mode due to debug-request, pc: 0x8021fa90
<PaulFertser>
ScottBakula: haha, you picked quite an old target for REing.
<PaulFertser>
ScottBakula: so, it halted, you can inspect memory etc, what's the question?
<ScottBakula>
ok i think there is a nTRST switch to create , yeah @PaulFertser
<ScottBakula>
i am using a flipper zero with DAP Link app, and openocd of corse. I tested it with an esp32s2 and it was working properly, it emulates a USB CMSIS-DAP
<Haohmaru>
uh, isn't your target JTAG-ish?
<PaulFertser>
Cool, so Flipper zero is useful for something after all :)
<PaulFertser>
CMSIS-DAP supports JTAG
<Haohmaru>
yes but do such exist?
<Haohmaru>
i think i've seen only those with SWD
<Haohmaru>
but maybe i've been looking thru a straw
<ScottBakula>
yeah it's nice @PaulFertser
<ScottBakula>
i am progressing with the firmware-recovery, it seems i can list partitions
<ScottBakula>
@gamiee, hello, i am not sure it's working properly, is there any commands to check the jtag ? i tried to dump the image from my wrt54g but it looks like buggy, the command has been executed successfully but the binary is empty (binary size is good but nothing in it)
