<mwette> Is there an "interface" command in (upstream) openocd?
<PaulFertser> mwette: hi. It was renamed to "adapter" I think, long time ago, why?

<mwette> OK. So, I downloaded the microchip softconsole package for polarfire and pic64gx-kit. It has openocd in it. The license for softconsole says third party licenses apply: https://paste.debian.net/1335046/
<mwette> I found an interface .cfg file that is licenced GPL2 for the onchip flashpro. It uses a command "interface" .
<PaulFertser> OpenOCD is under GPLv2 mostly. So it's not allowed to be linked against proprietary libraries (DLLs).
<PaulFertser> Probably very old version it was based on.
<mwette> this: 0.10.0+dev-00859-g95a8cd9b5-dirty
<PaulFertser> Yeah 0.10.0 was released in 2017.
<mwette> Thanks.
