<Guest9> Hello together, via google I found an entry in the devel mailing list where someone already implemented a flash config for the Sonix SN32 Arm M0 chips:
<Guest9> [OpenOCD-devel] Contribute a flash driver for SONiX MCUs
<Guest9> Sadly I can not find the file or the person anywhere. Does someone maybe have info on this?
<olerem> Guest9: not so far
<Haohmaru> is that yet another brand "inspired by" stm32
<Guest9> yes, and it is rebranded a lot by other comapnies like "evision". Then it is used/sold in cheaper keyboards  for example.
<PaulFertser> I wonder if people are saying "hello together" without humorous intent.
<Guest9> First time using IRC :D
<Guest9> The datasheets for reading and writing flash a readily available. But I hoped not todo the work twice.
<PaulFertser> Guest9: have you tried writing a personal e-mail to Marcos?
<Guest9> I can not see his full mail in the archive
<PaulFertser> Guest9: I meant it sounds just odd because it's a literal translation from German and it's not normally used in English that way.
<PaulFertser> Guest9: I'll give you the address, hold on.
<Haohmaru> sourceforge probably hides emails for guests
<PaulFertser> Guest9: Marcos Lois Bermúdez <marcos.lois@gmail.com>
<Guest9> Thank you! i will give it a try via mail
<PaulFertser> Guest9: please feel free to ask if anything's unclear about writing a driver or contributing.
<PaulFertser> Guest9: also in case there's a way to flash it via bootloader you can do that and use OpenOCD for debugging (flash driver isn't needed for debugging).
<PaulFertser> Guest9: yes, https://github.com/smplman/dk63 says you can flash via USB using vendor tool.
<Guest9> In my case the USB data lines are dead, the bootloader is not responding, but I can control the Chip via stlinkv2 SWD
<PaulFertser> OK, I hope you can write a rudimentary flash driver if it's all in the datasheet.
<PaulFertser> It's not that hard usually.
<PaulFertser> If you want to, you can prototype in Python using mdw/mww commands over the RPC interface of OpenOCD.
<Guest9> It is my first time using SWD, will have to read a bit about all these new things
<Guest9> But I already tried mdw and it seems to be working.

<mwette> I've been looking for openocd support for a microchip pic64gx eval board. FYI to others, I found this: https://github.com/microchip-fpga/openocd
