<riscit>
when i use dump_image to dump the ram, can i assume that when i see strings repeating in the same order, that I am reading regions multiple times?
<riscit>
at least thats the behavior with some spi programmers, i.e. you choose a 2MB model in the programmer but chip size is just 1MB
<riscit>
so you get the image two times in the same dump
<riscit>
would i expect the same with openocd?

riscit: it depends on how the target itself behaves.
