rcurtin: Thank you for waiting, sorry I wasn't quite able to do anything this week. I was migrating to a newly built system and have messed up multiple bootloaders (still unfixed) and had midterms exams also on top of it. Exams got over yesterday so I'll be able to work on the PR now. Doesn't look like much work though, I'll take a look at your comments and get started.

Also, on a very different note: I have accidentally deleted the Windows bootloader from my new PC while installing Linux (formatted the EFI partition by mistake). Linux opens alright from Grub but Windows is not detected. Now I have a dual booted laptop from where I have extracted the Windows bootloader (i.e., whatever is there in the Windows EFI boot drive). Will it be safe to just copy paste that to the corresponding

location on the new PC? If someone has done this before it would be of much help for me to know which files in the bootloader are system specific (if any). Thanks :)
