< favre49> zoq: rcurtin: I'm writing the bindings for NEAT. I was wondering how specifying a TaskType would work in this context?

< favre49> I guess this is something like specifying an environment in mlpack's RL framework, but it doesn't have any python bindings itself

< jeffin143> rcurtin : also sorry , I found that I missed some of the spaces in description sections of scaler binding , I saw that after PR was merged , I will handle it in any of the open pr
< jeffin143> rcurtin : also have you ever happened to check webpack..??, I found that library does something related to what we discussed that day about headers *
< jeffin143> Also any idea how to join ..?? CPP development site, because strangly googling doesn't give me a strong procedure to join. :)

< favre49> zoq: Also, I'm having difficulty deciding on a test for phased searching. I though I could just apply it to one of our existing tests, but phased searching doesn't seem to work very well on environments where genome bloat isn't really an issue
< favre49> The cases where it has been used are difficult to find resources for and judging by the descriptions, pretty time-intensive
< Toshal> ShikharJ: Yes I am fine about attending the meet tommorow.
< Toshal> On our regular time at 7:00 pm IST.

< Toshal> rcurtin: zoq: I want to know that, should I change ordering of the parameters in ensmallen/#109 PR? Since you agreed on keeping it at the end. Frankly speaking it would be like changing half of the PR. I won't mind. Just let me know your thoughts regarding the same.

< ShikharJ> rcurtin: Do NIPS workshops have a lower page limit for their papers?
< ShikharJ> I'm reading up the proceedings of different NIPS workshops (MLOSS and some Medical Imaging workshops). But some papers don't seem very technical themselves, and wrap up within 4 pages? This is insane, since the usual NIPS papers are super technical and elaborate, and have quite some additional pages for proofs as well.
