I have another question - again regarding Density Estimation Trees - have you thought / tries to make it work with Sparse Matrix? :-)
< theJonan>
I'm asking because I'm about to work on that now, so it's interesting if there are any attempts. Especially the DET algorithm looks suitable for this transition.

akanuraj200/mlpack#11 (master - 8bad384 : Anuraj Kanodia): The build is still failing.

Also, I saw your intents to merge BinarySpaceTree and DET (which totally makes sense), and the former is capable of working with arma:SpMat - isn't it better that I work on issue #227, rather than changing DET to work with SpMat as well?

theJonan_: I agree, sparse matrix support would be nice for density estimation trees
< rcurtin>
it would probably be better to just do #227 to accomplish sparse matrix support, but how you do it is up to you
< theJonan_>
Ok. It doesn't _seem_ to be that difficult... ;-)
