<diederik>
I updated to the latest nightly for rock64 and that disabled inputstream.adaptive. Is that a known problem? And is there a fix?

[slack] <CvH> Latest nightly should fix that
<diederik>
I have the problem with this version: nightly-20220919-5d1ef41 which is the latest
<diederik>
Before I ran LibreELEC-RK3328.arm-11.0-nightly-20220910-f329064-rock64.img.gz and that worked flawless

[slack] <CvH> there is a new version of inputstream addon that should only work with the latest nightly, so it should work now after you updated the addons
<diederik>
I checked for updated addons, but there weren't any. And when I try to enable it, I get "The add-on is not compatible with this version of Kodi"
<diederik>
And when I check the "versions", I get "There are currently no versions available for this add-on."

cvh, chewitt: and the connman vulns?
<diederik>
It does work with nightly-20220918-9a0d105
<LEBot>
[slack] <CvH> strange, not looked into that problem yet

in kodi.log I see "inputstream.adaptive version 20.2.3.2 is incompatible" and installation of that addon fails
<LEBot>
[slack] <CvH> inputstream.adaptive-20.3.0.1 is the latest at our servers
<diederik>
Can I manually force a refresh of the addon repositories?
<LEBot>
[slack] <CvH> ERROR <general>: CAddonInstallJob[inputstream.adaptive]: The dependency on kodi.binary.instance.inputstream version 3.1.0 could not be satisfied.
<diederik>
I forcI forced the update, but I'm not seeing any updates
<diederik>
hmm, this is interesting. I did a search for inputstream and I'm now seeing 2 InputStream Adaptive, the version I had an 20.3.0.1
<shibboleth>
also: i've noticed something weird. 1080i@50 sources (tv channels mostly) prompts libreelec to do a modechange if 1080@25 is whitelisted?
<shibboleth>
also, "prey.2022.2160p.web.h265-naisu" (which is 23.98fps) won't play if 2160@24 is whitelisted, while foundation.s01e01.2160p.web.h265-ggez (24fps) won't play if 23.98hz is whitelisted
<shibboleth>
which gets... "really old, really fast" :)
<shibboleth>
i get that 1080i@50 is essentially two half-content @25 frames *in*, but why is it modechanging if 1080p@25 *out* is whitelisted?
<shibboleth>
(ui already running at 1080p@50)
