<LEBot>
[slack] <jernej> use config from similar board, afaik most are similar, at least in the part that Crust is interested in
<LEBot>
[slack] <jernej> if it works, open PR with config for your board

Running LE 10.0.2 on a Rpi4. Noticing that NTP is spotty, it won't come up at boot time, but if I go in settings and verify NTP, the time is changed when I press OK. Next reboot the time is off again. (I run NTP on an ActiveDirectory Domain server, that's always available.)
<montjoie>
jernej i tried with nanopi_m1_defconfig but no change
<fuxxy>
Also, 'systemctl status' shows system is degraded (network-online.service failed), but there's nothing in dmesg or journalctl saying why

[slack] <jernej> montjoie: are you sure that nanopi_m1_defconfig is compatible? please check schematic
<montjoie>
jernej not sure at all, I will check
<LEBot>
[slack] <jernej> other than telling you what to check, I can't help you much. I don't have that board.
<montjoie>
jernej: no problem, at least I know a workaround, but it will be easier if I found the problem for upstreaming my change
<LEBot>
[slack] <jernej> you can also try to remove all H3 U-Boot related patches, which will also result in disabling Crust and see if it is works

[slack] <jernej> oh right, you have to clean u-boot and build again
<montjoie>
jernej: in fact I cleaned uboot/crust directory, but crust was not rebuilt at all
<montjoie>
I try a full clean build

fuxxy_laptop: have you tried the "wait for network on start" or whatever it's called in LE settings?
<fuxxy_laptop>
Yes that's enabled.
<fuxxy_laptop>
it pauses during boot, but before the Kodi splash screen appears, eventually timing out. Once Kodi loads, everything appears normal - I can connect to plex and my media without issue.
<fuxxy_laptop>
I'm reading that connman attempts to connect to [http://ipv4.connman.net/online/status.html] for it's online test, which I can resolve and connect after the system boots.

Well there's a problem... Regional/Timezone got reset to blank somehow
<fuxxy_laptop>
Guess I need to figure out where that's saved and set it up in Zabbix

I set everything back up, and ensured 'wait for network' was turned on. I also set the timeout to 300. I've been sitting here at the LibreELEC boot logo for 2 mins already waiting for network to come up. I can't ping it from the router, so net's definately not up yet, but once the timer expires, kodi will load and network will be just fine
<fuxxy_laptop>
finally booted, and still no network. It looks like the "Connect automatically" setting got flipped to off. Lets try again.
<fuxxy_laptop>
Alright, connected this time. Didn't even have to wait the full 5 mins. I'll call it user error unless it comes back.
