Hey anyone tried installing kiss linux on a thinkpad e14 gen 2 or a similar model, i'm having some problems having the Framebuffer to work despite activating CONFIG_FB, FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE, FB_EFI :/

Uh folks, I've been wondering: are there any security issues with making certain /sys/ files user-writable?

Like, I added some scripts that make stuff like the backlight and the suspend stuff user-writable, since I figured that it would be betterâ„¢ than a suid binary or whatever. Is is actually though?
