<maki0728[m]> hello and thanks for glasgow. I'm trying to use uart and I want to twiddle control lines while I do this. I'm thinking of doing this from repl/script is there a way to change state of ports not used by tx and rx? My look through things makes me think the current answer is no, and if so where do I begin to add such things?
<whitequark[cis]> you basically have to extend the applet
<whitequark[cis]> to do it really easily i suggest adding an i2c register, there are a few examples of how to do this, program-ice40 i think has one
<maki0728[m]> ok let me read up on that stuff; thanks for the advice and quick response
