Also, I discovered how to reproduce this quickly, with some possible red herrings:
<arahael>
1. Start foot. 2. Maximise to full screen on 4k screen, using KDE on wayland with ATI drivers (Possible red herring). 3. Turn the screen off. 4. Touch keyboard and/or click mouse on window. 4. Turn screen back on. (Foot has already crashed at this point)
<arahael>
Erm, not ATI drivers. I meant AMD drivers.

Oh, and I do have tweak.damage-whole-window=yes
<arahael>
I need that otherwise the rendering gets borked.

arahael: I don't see anything out of the ordinary there. Which CPU architecture is this? which compositor, and version? which version of foot?

a run with WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 might also be useful
<arahael>
I'll have to do the WAYLAND_DEBUG thing after work.

dnkl: I reproduced it with WAYLAND_DEBUG, however, Plasma also crashed. When plasma restarted, I stopped being able to trivially reproduce the crash in foot.
<arahael>
dnkl: So I think that diagnostic log isn't going to be useful. I'll try updating the system again and if it reproduces again **without** plasma crashing, I'll let you know.
