Hey, been using foot for a short while, however, one thing I need is the ability to have a 'contrast' setting. Is it possible to have foot ensure that the foreground and background colours for a character always has a certain amount of contrast?

arahael_: isn't it a color-theme thing?
<arahael_>
manio: No, because lets suppose we have black foreground text. But the background is also black, then I can't see it.
<arahael_>
Basically it doesn't matter what colour scheme you pick, some colours out of a 256-colour pallette will not be visible.
<manio>
I agree, but what foot has to do with it
<manio>
It only read the color scheme and apply it
<manio>
Does some other terminal has this functionality?
<arahael_>
Readability -> Do you lose your cursor when there are lots of different colors or have programs display hard-to-read color combinations? With the Smart Cursor Color and Minimum Contrast features, you can ensure that these problems are gone for good.
<manio>
ah... so this is probably some more sophisticated algorithm for this
<manio>
I think dnkl should express his opinion...
<arahael_>
Yep, indeed.
