<pam79> hi, I'm running foot using wslg.exe Debian-WSL2-Win11, I switched from alacritty and I've always found kitty to be too much. So, after messing around with the configuration, I found 2 visual glitches: 1- that in order to be able to resize foot's window, you need to have a greater than 0 border-width. If and when you maximize foot's window it will leave a rectangle onscreen where the border used to be
<pam79> if you un-maximize, this rectangle will disappear, if you resize the window, the rectangle will follow, but never glitch out.
<pam79> an
<pam79> d 2- when you use C-S-r to search something on screen, foot will render an alpha pane with the same size as the terminal below. This pane however will not disappear, if you resize, maximize, minimize, it will remain in place at the same coordinates as it was generated. It will only disappear when you close that terminal window.
<pam79> I suspect this has to do with the compositor, specifically this sterr message → warn: render.c:3015: compositor is not releasing buffers immediately; expect lower rendering performance
<pam79> other than that, foot is great!
