Thank you raiguard. Yes, floating the file picker window is suboptimal, although I guess it's already better than my current setup where kakoune is not using any nnn filepicker at all (I just use nnn as my main file manager and then edit files from there directly, but the consequence of that is I rarely have multiple buffers in kakoune, instead I often have multiple terminal windows running different kakoune sessions).

Is anyone using abduco and dvtm with foot, and having working colours?

Kabouik: took a very quick look, and dvtm appears to have many color issues, regardless of terminal. Most of it seems to come down to dvtm being an ncurses application, and doesn't support true color.

Does foot not always report correct dimensions on startup? I'm using a shell that has a prompt on the right as well as the left, and it seems it's not able to find the correct location for the right of the screen on first launch
