<Marth64>
just noticed that in documentation, section 9 'Codec Options', -channel_layout values are missing. any issue if I send a patch?
<Marth64>
to at least point user to the avutil section where the channel layouts are listed

Marth64: yes, but replace channel_layout with ch_layout while at it
<jamrial>
and remove request_channel_layout, as it's deprecated
<Marth64>
jamrial: thx...that threw me for a little loop yesterday

<Marth64>
jamrial: I assume -downmix is the suitable replacement for truehd/dca decoders to request a particular presentation (at least thats what I've been using)
<jamrial>
yeah
<Marth64>
cool
<jamrial>
they are codec specific options
<jamrial>
and not global
<Marth64>
very very useful

thardin: nice coverage
<thardin>
yes. the refs and test code is also about 3x the size of the actual test samples (:
<thardin>
fun to play with because the encoded files are so tiny and the codec is error resilient by design

has there been an ffmpeg talk at congress yet?
<thardin>
seems not
<anotherXmas>
Ffmpeg was thanked for in the Tesla talk
<anotherXmas>
Played the Tesla camera videos
<Lynne>
telsa talk?
<thardin>
yeah tesla talk?
<thardin>
a friend of mine has a tesla. after reading about their shitty link arms breaking and the "autopilot" doing stupid things I feel disinclined to ride it
