<Guest67> Romster: I have been trying other rust binaries and they all work for me, however the binary provided by crux gives me this error.
<Guest67> I'm thinking it's because of my processor and the flags with which the crux rust binary was compiled.

<SiFuh> Guest67: But you don't compile rust-bin. It is precompiled. The Pkgfile just provides the details to download the binary, extracts, packages and installs it.

<Guest91> SiFuh: So why do the other binaries work and the crux one doesn't?
<Guest91> I just tried it on another computer with the same result. I don't know if that package already compiled with a specific set of instructions doesn't work on older processors that don't support those instructions.
<Guest91> from what I was reading when you get that error it's because you don't have the instruction set in the processor that rust needs.

<stenur> that pam.d/login change is fishy; what if you login via su sshd etc. No, if nothing else, he knows the manual of my pam_xdg and simply refuses to use common-session for that. Sorry if i overestimate my importance. Fishy!
<stenur> wrong channel sorry.
<stenur> Sigh.
<ppetrov^> the new jasper, when unpacked is just jasper-3.0.2, not jasper-version-3.0.5

<farkuhar> ppetrov^: just my luck that I started the `ports -u; prt-get sysup` routine before the latest bump of the jasper port.
<farkuhar> and that must have been about five hours ago by now ... but the job hasn't finished because I delayed until today the heavy task of rebuilding qtwebengine.
