<elderK> Guys, I've set up the locales as instructed by the handbook but Steam's still giving me warnings about being unable to set the locale to en_US.UTF-8
<elderK> When I issue "locale -a", I get en_US, en_US.utf8, en_US.iso88591 and C.
<elderK> Any ideas what's going on?
<elderK> Is there like a command I can issue to test the locale setup?

<jaeger> as far as I know locale -a is the test... no idea what steam wants, sorry
<SiFuh> Nice to see ports -u supports <repo.git
<SiFuh> Shift key jamed shut haha.
<SiFuh> Nice to see ports -u supports <repo>.git. Why has only httpup and rsync become the main sync file?
<SiFuh> Logitech K270 is a pile of garbage. Anyone wanting a new keyboard, I do not recommend this
<jaeger> I have an older K750 that's great... but mostly prefer my DIY mechanicals these days
<SiFuh> Yeah, not a fan of mechanicals. The K270 is ia a pain, keys constantly jamming and the backspace key has no metal clip underneath so if you presse it too far left it just angles and jams. All the larger keys will get stuck down at random times.
<SiFuh> Those spelling mistakes are from me and not the keyboard ;-P
<SiFuh> Hmm also the backspace will not go down if I hit too far to the right.
<SiFuh> Done for the night. Dumped 60 ports, added 7 so night

<deep42thought> Hi, I have a qt5-based application (scribus) which opens in a really low resolution (e.g. everything is 3-6 times as big as usual and thus unusable). It looks ok, if I ssh from an archlinux machine into my crux machine and open it there. Also, it looks ok on the arch machine, but similarly low-resolved, if I ssh into the arch machine from crux and open it there. Is there some kind of monitor resolution embedded somewhere in X, which is que
<deep42thought> ried by qt5?
<jaeger> No idea here, sorry. I don't know much of anything about qt5
<deep42thought> not really sure, if it's really qt5-related
