<beerman> hey polkit can now use something other than mozjs78
<jaeger> that would be nice, mozjs is a pain
<beerman> A bit, I’ll look into it
<beerman> It seems to default to that now
<beerman> So probably also the preferred option
<braewoods> ah yes duktape
<braewoods> not the fastest JS but it works kinda like Lua in a sense
dlcusa_ is now known as dlcusa
<jaeger> I need to figure out what to do about dracut/asciidoc... might prebuild the man pages and remove the asciidoc dep... just added that as a short term workaround but it's in contrib while dracut is in opt and I hate useless deps like that
<braewoods> Ah, dracut. I still remember that one feature I contributed to upstream: support for compressed kernel modules.
<beerman> jaeger: make it optional
<beerman> There is not much else, because precompiling just is the extra effort which stings
<beerman> My rational is: if somebody want the man files, they can install whatever dependency is needed to do so
<jaeger> yeah, I guess that's always an option
<beerman> It’s easier than deciding for one or the other
<beerman> At least for me it is
<farkuhar> I dropped my foliate port because one of its dependencies decided to stop working with mozjs78 and insisted on mozjs91 (which I didn't want to maintain another port for). Glad to see that mozjs is finally getting some competition.
