03:57 <zmatt> you can also try bypassing the bootloader on eMMC to force it to use the one on the sd card, that can help in case eMMC is so ancient or weird that it can't boot from the linux system on sd card. this is done by holding the S2 button (the button closest to the SD card slot) while applying power (you can let go of the button once the power led turns on)
