<Guest4494> I've got a BBB running the stock Debian (10.13) buster.  When I run apt-get update, I'm getting errors that the repo no longer has a Release file, although when I go to the Debian repo via web browser, I do see a Release file there (may not be in the same place as where apt is expecting it (?)).
<Guest4494> How do I fix this?
<Guest4494> I run into this problem with Debian every couple of years, but I don't recall how to fix it.

<Archana> Guest4494: Maybe update the image? I am not sure about what you are going through but VS Code is used now outside of c9.
<Archana> When you say "stock", does this mean you have not updated the image outside of what came w/ the BBB?
<Archana> I know for a long time c9 was used but since then, I think Amazon or another subsidiary took over and the code has changed.
<Archana> I think...of to read this article again.
<Archana> See: https://aws.amazon.com/cloud9/pricing/ and the charge started. I think the build worked for a long time but then things went west.
<Archana> Dang it.

<set_> There...
<set_> But yes...amazon is now in charge of the code base. What does this entail? No sure but...I am sure of this! It is not longer distributed the way it was when they were completely open source.
