i know the beagleboard.org images tended to carry patches, but i also used more-or-less mainline u-boot for the most part

i have a strange problem in my board pressing BOOT switch and connecting the power dosent boot from SD

I have to let it boot into eMMC power down and then press the power button together with BOOT button

sometimes reset + BOOT works too

the behavior is not consistant

you have to hold the boot button down while it's booting

when this problem occurs the power led lights up but non of the other leds

oh so what you mean is that i have to first connect power then hold the BOOT button

i was holding the boot button down and then connecting power

the latter could work, but i think you need to hold it for a second or two ... it has been years since i've had to do that so a bit foggy on details

when this problem happens the power indicator lights up but nothing on the serial console
