<set_> I am back in the game w/ LiDar!
<set_> Anyway...off to test now!
<set_> UART!
<set_> Tomorrow is July 4th in case you want to show consideration for people like me in the states!

<set_> Anyway so. This fellow or lady, whomever, wrote this lib. I tried it and changed some ideas in it. Nothing seemed to work due to an error.
<set_> I could not get around it. If it was not simple, it got more complicated.
<set_> >>> TypeError: '>' not supported between instances of 'NoneType' and 'float'
<set_> That was the simple error.
<set_> Anyway. . . Off to test this person's new ideas and updates.

<set_> Whelp. No roses on crack your fire day. Blah. Not even a LiDar can save me.
<set_> Blue!
<GenTooMan> none type means you were comparing it to a variable that didn't contain anything
<GenTooMan> likely you hadn't set the variable to anything yet I'm not sure how you defined it however. That could be interesting. Was the variable passed to a function and the function not called with a parameter?
<set_> I have not a clue. I gave in like a chump.
<set_> I am sorry. The night is over for me. Just loud pops in the distance.
<set_> "tear in my beer?"
<set_> I do not condone drinking for people like me, i.e. those who suffer in the logical section of the brian.
<set_> Ha.
<set_> Or Adam. Whomever.
<set_> GenTooMan: I will get to it again soon, e.g. some time after tonight.
<set_> Sunday, Sunday, Sunday.
<set_> Bon Voyage for the sniffles and night time creepies.

<GenTooMan> right need sleep too an hour ahead of you.
<set_> Oh!
<set_> One last thing...
<set_> LOL!
<set_> Welcome back!
<set_> I have been rearranging this house to fit something in the 'garage'. I also demanded that I fix an old issue from the previous owner.
<set_> Argh.
<set_> Anyway. Night, Night, Night.

<kveremitz> are the latest images on .. latest-images, really 2020-04? I See debian is up to 10.7 with buster...
<zmatt> yeah, the last testing images were 2020-08 and since then the entire release schedule seems to be stuck (https://elinux.org/Beagleboard:Latest-images-testing)
<kveremitz> ah yes found the 2020-08 ones
<kveremitz> that's 10.5 at least
<kveremitz> 10.7 is only 2020-12 it seems
<zmatt> I mean, apt-get update
<kveremitz> sure :)
<kveremitz> I'll live with that, thanks for info
