<DC-IRC> [Discord] <bassamanator> I'm finding that `/root/.not_logged_in_yet` is kind of hit or miss when it comes to *all* the settings. My first time around, a user was created via `PRESET_USER_NAME`, and related settings, but now I'm unable to reproduce. Wifi does connect every time, however. :/
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <bassamanator> EDIT: I discovered the culprit: `PRESET_LOCALE=en_CA.UTF-8` is a no go, and will lead to `1574 tty1 S+ 0:00 bash /usr/lib/armbian/armbian-firstlogin` running indefinitely or until reboot.

<DC-IRC> [Discord] <dieselnutjob> can anyone tell me how to limit the SATA speed on an Orange Pi4 LTS? I think I need something like libata.force=1.5Gbps in the kernel boot options but I don't know how to modify the kernel options. I'm used to modifying /boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf but my Orange Pi4 LTS running Armbian doesn't seem to work like that.

<DC-IRC> [Discord] <dieselnutjob> disk corruption and occasional unmounts. I'm using the optional add on board with a minipci to SATA adapter and my guess is there's something that isn't as good as it should be
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <dieselnutjob> it's something like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000575054675.html
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <dieselnutjob> maybe I should just go USB3 to SATA. Probably more reliable

<DC-IRC> [Discord] <bassamanator> hmm I imagine a user in the sudo group would have full access, though I don't know why others users wouldn't. `usermod -aG sudo <username>`.
