<Conventia> If shifts/rotates by a constant can be replaced by slice/concat, that means that users can write const_shift_left, const_shift_right, etc. which would be implemented in terms of slices and concats, right?
<whitequark>
.shift_left, etc already do that
<whitequark>
that's their whole point
<d1b2>
<Conventia> I read the entire thread and it seemed like their point was to support negative shifts. I suppose it would be more accurate to say that they support constants and negative constants?
<whitequark>
yeah
<d1b2>
<Conventia> Ah, just reread the docs, they say constant amount, I guess the conversation just colored that for me, strange.

<dave berkeley> I've added V8.0 hardware of the ColorLight 5A-75B, which has substantially different wiring to the V7.0. I've tested the HUB75 ports, and the LED. Runs blinky fine, flashing with a DirtyJTAG board. Not tested the DRAM or Eth Phys yet.

<dave berkeley> I made a little adapter board for the DirtyJTAG.
