whitequark: From a scale going from quartus to best thing since sliced bread, how much do you like rtlil?
<whitequark>
I could answer that as stated but I feel like if you're making a decision, it is best made based on something that's not my bare preferences
<Sarayan>
I'm having fun with rust, it's probably not going to go anywhere, but I was wondering if playing with rtlil was a good idea
<Sarayan>
or if there was issues with it that made it not worth it
<whitequark>
seems fine to me
<Sarayan>
cool
<Sarayan>
(my idea of fun with rust, doing a verilog -> basic rtlil parser/converter just to see if I can do it and how it works out)
<Sarayan>
(I won't learn a language if I don't do something consistent with it)
<whitequark>
yeah, makes sense
<Sarayan>
Just wanted to be sure the "rtlil" part wouldn't be the painful one :-)
