I am working on a recipe for a board that has multiple CPU architectures (ARM64 + ARM), The recipe needs to deploy binaries for an ARM core to the ARM64 firmware (because they are flashed from there). However, the recipe fails QA checks ("Architecture did not match"). I tried adding `INSANE_SKIP_${PN} += "arch"` to the recipe but still get the same

Hi! I'm currently trying to trigger the device tree validation tool provided by python3-dtschema-native. It seems to be only integrated in linux-yocto-dev, and adding it manually to my kernel recipe doesn't seem to trigger any validation. Is there some additional action to perform?

qschulz: I will have a look at that! rburton: My recipe basically only downloads a .tgz and then does a `cp -r`. It also includes an .inc but I have even tried adding the INSANE_SKIP to both of these files to no avail. What's interesting is that I just noticed that using much older versions of the problematic binaries work fine in the recipe.

anyone have tips on debugging why a modem isnt being seen by NetworkManager? it worked fine on NM 1.22, but moving to 1.36 (kirkstone's head) the modem doesnt show up in `nmcli dev` so it cant generate a connection

if its the first thing, `add task x after y`, y needs to be the name of the task you want to follow; i.e. `add task my_task after do_deploy` and it has to be in the same recipe. if you want to just add the task to an existing recipe make a bbappend
