<Guest30>
Hello, I would like to ask (not in the manual) since I can't figure out for myself, how can I check which keyboard layout I'm using atm ? I have 3 layouts in use so it's very usefull to know a priori

You can't for now :(

If you need a cross layout mappings you have to use `riverctl map -layout 0`

I might have suggested this already onve, but a dedicated protocol for getting the active keyboard layout might be a reasonable addition to wayland-protocols, if someone has the time and energy to write and defend a proposal

don't count on that happening anytime soon though, this seems to be something only few people care about. So if this is important to you and you want to actually have it, you may need to do it yourself
