Nosrep: I haven't seen that before, it sounds like a Firefox bug though unfortunately
<ifreund>
a WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 log would allow us to know for sure

In the example init there is a map to put a "view" on all "tags". It works sort of, but it messes up focusing when changing the "focused tags". How can I fix this? I'm not sure what I did wrong, I think I only changed keys (not the command part exept for terminal).
<leon-p>
Guest5: when you focus a new tag, the view that gets focused is the one which was most recently focused out of all visible views
<leon-p>
so if you put a view on all tags, focus it, then focus a different tag, it will be focused
<leon-p>
that's expected behaviour
<Guest5>
Yes of course but it somehow also happens after unfocusing it. It forgets what I focused instead.
<Guest5>
I'll try the original init, I probably messed something up.

It happens still. I'm confused...
<Guest5>
But maybe "focused tags" does something different than I thought.

Oh, so tags don't have a memory, just the entire river does? So tags can't remember focus. Like they can't remember the layout, if I modify the layout it is also modified on all tags. I noticed that before but didn't care. Because I almost never change it.
<Guest5>
Maybe I understood it. Maybe not. Still confused. Sorry for the noise.
<Guest5>
Is there documentation on this? I don't find it. I think such unpredictable things should be documented in the man page or wiki. Anyways good day all. Bye

I am pretty sure all of that is documented somewhere?

isti115_: yes, I am very in touch with zig development and in fact on the core team
<ifreund>
Zig's package manager doesn't support the features river needs yet, perhaps by 0.12

we gotta do a proper river meetup at some point, we live too relatively close to each other in the grand scheme of things to have an excuse :D
