leon-p: i was able to enable it with `lv3:ralt_switch_multikey` and create a `.XCompose` file which defines the bindings i want. i can't find the `dead_greek` key which is used by default for entering greek letters

whoops, pushed the wlroots 0.16 branch to master but forgot to update the CI
<fleischie>
Speaking of wlroots - actually something completely different: Are there any plans to update to zig v0.10 for the main branch? (And/or related projects?)
<fleischie>
If this has been described somewhere already I couldn't find it
<fleischie>
Just for my information.
<ifreund>
fleischie: There's a next-zig branch for river, zig-wlroots, zig-wayland, etc.
<fleischie>
Really? 😏 (How have I missed that until now? 😯)
<ifreund>
I ran into some issues with the xwayland build option that seem to indicate a bug with the self hosted compiler, so I haven't merged it yet
<fleischie>
Nice, thanks.
<ifreund>
Note that the next-zig branches are also out of date now that I've merged the wlroots update
<ifreund>
(the wlroots update is far more important for end users as it includes bug fixes and new features)
<novakane>
nice, finally wlroots 0.16, new river release coming then?
<novakane>
haven't got the time to read the zig and wlroots changelog yet, lot of reading to do
<novakane>
I hope Firefox gonna be less buggy now
<ifreund>
yes, firefox should be a lot less buggy
<ifreund>
new river release coming soonish, want to merge some PRs and fix some bugs first
<ifreund>
may upgrade to zig 0.10.0 before the release too if I find a way to fix the xwayland build option with the self hosted compilers
<ifreund>
also need some time for the code churn from the release to settle, I was triggered into doing a bit of refactoring to reduce error prone integer casting
<ifreund>
the number of @intCast() calls is less than half of what it was now :)
<novakane>
what's the problem with xwayland?
<novakane>
oh yeah I saw some u31 in the commits log :P
<ifreund>
novakane: river doesn't build with xwayland disabled on the next-zig branch
<ifreund>
due to compile errors in xwayland-only code that shouldn't be semantically analyzed by the compilers
<plumeus>
huh, it builds with xwayland enabled?
<plumeus>
But not disabled?
<novakane>
oh okay I see, have you any idea why is that or not yet?

<ifreund>
probably a compiler bug
<ifreund>
and yes, it builds with xwayland enabled

yay time to rebase my pr, btw ifreund what do you think about making spawn_tagmask be an global thing rather than per output? right now it has a problem where if the output goes to sleep the tagmask is lost
<tleydxdy[m]>
I have a local patch but don't think I made a pr
