<teepee>
heh... CircleCI: "Your team is out of credits"
<teepee>
" Your team on openscad ran out of 30k monthly credits offered on our Free plan and can no longer run tests, builds, and deploys for the rest of this month. "
<teepee>
unfortunately no, if I'm reading that right: " Without additional credits, your team will not be able to continue until the next refill on 07/26/24. "
<teepee>
seems strange
<InPhase>
How could we have used up a month's worth in 4 days?
<teepee>
no idea, it's not making much sense, the other part refers to the last 30 days
<InPhase>
Did you log in and check the credit balance?
<teepee>
and that's not making any sense either, unless my math is totally off
<teepee>
In the last 30 days your team used the Free plan to test, build, and deploy for approximately 14513 minutes a day. That's a lot of building.
<InPhase>
Is there even a thing that one can use to check it?
<InPhase>
This could be a summer intern updating the database queries. ;)
<teepee>
that's a separate repo which should not trigger any builds
<InPhase>
14513 minutes a day is 10 days per day by my math.
<teepee>
yeah, so that would be 10 parallel builds for 24h per day which can't be right as we only have 4 parallel workers
<InPhase>
10 days per day would explain using it up in 4 days.
<InPhase>
But something is fishy there.
<InPhase>
It probably warrants a support email I guess.
<teepee>
lol, website says: Next free refill is on July 1, 2024
<InPhase>
Okay. Then maybe hold off on a support email. They won't even check it until Monday anyway.
<teepee>
it is actually building, so...
<InPhase>
....
<InPhase>
Where's that table-flip ascii emoji.

those numbers are officially bs
<InPhase>
Summer intern.
<teepee>
i'm counting roughly 100 builds in the last 30 days, which are max 3 parallel and less than 15m each except in rare cases for macos
<teepee>
that's < 5000 not 15000 minutes
<InPhase>
My work's parking office has been doing the same thing for like a month. I got emails about how I inappropriately parked in a parking tower I've never been to, and another one about how I only have 10 of 12 and 0 of 12 (in the same email) of my monthly usages of parking left, when I don't even have monthly usages for my parking but unlimited in and out privileges.
<InPhase>
I follow up on every single one and every time they're like, "Sorry, please ignore!"
<J24k76>
I wonder when their support uses AI and you can go " you are wrong i didn't do that" - and it will go " oh sorry i made a mistake you sure have still credits left"
