< rcurtin> hehe, now that I unrestricted chat, we get a lot more messages from CI tools :)

< akhandait> Hey guys!
< akhandait> I was going through the new ensmallen repo.
< akhandait> I found it interesting, can somebody tell me what the purpose is behind having one for optimizers alone?
< akhandait> Well, never mind, I just went through the paper. :)

< jenkins-mlpack2> Yippee, build fixed!
< jenkins-mlpack2> Project docker mlpack nightly build build #122: FIXED in 5 hr 58 min: http://ci.mlpack.org/job/docker%20mlpack%20nightly%20build/122/
< rcurtin> akhandait: the basic thought was that having a different repo for the optimizers would make it a lot easier for people to use the optimization framework in their projects
< rcurtin> I will be trying to open a PR soon to remove the optimization infrastructure from mlpack and use ensmallen instead
< rcurtin> as a bonus this will really shorten the Travis and AppVeyor build times since it will remove a lot of tests :)

< zoq> rcurtin: I already started with the transition, not sure you already have almost everything ready?
< rcurtin> ah, ok, I haven't started at all---if you have it handled then I won't do anything :)
