<arno11>
btw i can confirm that N900 troubles with 6.6 completely disappeared (it seems) using sd swap. 48h really stable, will try to not reboot for a week or so and see.
<arno11>
(with 6.1 it was still stable after 17 days)

sicelo: well i tried 3 times but never got as mutch as a response.
<uvos>
if pmos has a usecase maybe we can try and do it again
<uvos>
theres also a german company that asked me about upstreaming the driver since apearntly they are useing it in some product, but they never followed though on that
<uvos>
Wolfvision GmbH
<sicelo>
i think i remember you mentioning that
<sicelo>
anyway, looks like pmOS is going for a different solution
<uvos>
i mean thair solution involves not using those buttons at all and preventing them from waking the device
<uvos>
acutally makeing them work would require t-s buttons
<tmlind>
freemangordon: sure if c2c takes
<tmlind>
care of things

Wizzup: do you have time to try to launch drnoksnes ?
<arno11>
*on d4
<Wizzup>
let me scp a few roms :)
<arno11>
oki :)
<arno11>
the last release should be ok for desktop icon and gui
<arno11>
at least it is ok on n900 atm

arno11: super mario worl loads
<Wizzup>
not sure about the sound (I can't make noise atm, so can't test)
<arno11>
ok
<arno11>
and for the gui ?
<Wizzup>
gui works :)
<Wizzup>
if you mean launcher gui
<arno11>
cool :)
<arno11>
and super mario world works full speed or ?
<Wizzup>
seems like it did, I didn't figure out all the keybinds yet. but shift l worked to pause the emulation
<arno11>
ok seems fine :)
<arno11>
ty for the test
<uvos>
snes games are probubly decently playable with the d4 keyboard
<arno11>
yes probably
<uvos>
Wizzup automatically clicks buy when he sees a droid4 ebay listing :P
<arno11>
he probably uses a script lol

<arno11>
btw pcsx_rearmed should be impressive on D4
<arno11>
at least for a 2012 device
<uvos>
i ran the psx kernel via retoarch on d4 before
<uvos>
worked mostly fine
<uvos>
d4 should be plenty to emulate a ps1
<uvos>
3d games are pretty hard to play with the keyboard however
<uvos>
and forget about the later ones that use the ps1 analog controller
<arno11>
yes indeed, depends of the game
<arno11>
anyway if the 'generic' core from retroarch is ok it should be more impressive with leste version
<uvos>
dunno, the retoarch stuff is pretty well optimized for armhf+gles since the older rpi's where/are sutch a common target
<uvos>
but a better ui would be welcome ofc

sure for rpi optimisation, but the tricky stuff is still the user config and bios. (huge impact)
<arno11>
i mean on N900 it is the key to get it work fullspeed
<arno11>
*working

freemangordon: idk about ok but this is typical for leste historicly
<uvos>
maybe a bit high, i usually see around there with wifi connected
<uvos>
should drop a bit with no wifi
<uvos>
ofc this is still greatly in excess of what we know the hw can do from android, but thats i presume not the question you are asking
<Wizzup>
seems to be betweem 16mA and 32mA
<Wizzup>
so not too bad
<uvos>
i allso allways compare omapconf outputs between kernel releases
<uvos>
havent done that for 6.6 but will eventually
<uvos>
this at least catches any pm regressions inside the omap
<uvos>
at least on my device w/s have been creeping up in leste for some time
<uvos>
but thats way harder to nail down where it comes from
