uvos: how to verify it is properly flashed?

I saw version 0.6
<uvos>
thats the version of kexecboot (the gui)
<uvos>
there is no way to check what version of kexecboot-the-image is installed
<freemangordon>
ok :)
<uvos>
2023-12-26 should be the one you flashed
<freemangordon>
sending 'bpsw' (4096 KB)...
<freemangordon>
finished. total time: 0.634s
<freemangordon>
writing 'bpsw'...
<freemangordon>
OKAY [ 0.190s]
<freemangordon>
OKAY [ 0.443s]
<freemangordon>
yes, that version

Wizzup: ok i found what is wrong with 6.6 on N900: something is wrong in commits: n900 dts is totally wrong, it is a mix of the original one and the custom one with boost mode
<arno11>
result: some opp have the same name with different freq and voltage...
<arno11>
so i think it is a bit risky to run 6.6 atm lol
<arno11>
(to clarify, some opp'es have been stacked instead of replacing the original ones)
<arno11>

tmlind: was https://lkml.org/lkml/2018/12/10/1162 taken upstream? as it seems multiple endpoints parsing is broken in audio-graph-card2 too
<freemangordon>
it always takes endpoint@0 when parsing parameters
<tmlind>
whatever issues i reported, kuninori just fixed them right away with audio graph card :)

uvos: please merge the fixes on my branch
<Wizzup>
arno11: ok, strange
<Wizzup>
thx
<Wizzup>
(I will be home tomorrow)
<arno11>
ok, hm, that's weird, opp names seem different in 6.6 (?) maybe that's why the new ones have been stacked
<arno11>
i'll investigate a bit more and make a new PR if necessary
<arno11>
freemangordon: if i make a new PR for overclock/boost/125MHz-removed, maybe you want me to remove 850MHz freq ?
<freemangordon>
arno11: ?
<freemangordon>
ah
<freemangordon>
yes, please, that's too high

Wizzup: uvos: btw i'll doublechecked n900 dts on github and it is ok for 6.6 but it seems that dts directory has been changed. Maybe that's the problem
<arno11>
it is /arch/arm/boot/dts/ti/omap now
<arno11>
(i remember uvos talking about that but maybe i'm wrong)
<uvos>
arno11: yes the directory has changed
<arno11>
ah ok
Wizzup has joined #maemo-leste
<uvos>
how is this a problem?
<arno11>
well, opp table is fine on github but on my device it appears like a mix of original opp table and the new one with boost
<arno11>
so i have 12 opp's instead of 6
<arno11>
and opp 125 both activates and deactivated lol
<arno11>
*activated
<arno11>
and he device is really unstable
<arno11>
*the
<arno11>
back to normal with the same install and 6.1
<arno11>
and correct opp table
<uvos>
ok
Wikiwide has quit [Ping timeout: 256 seconds]
<uvos>
i fail to see how the table can be correct in the repo but wrong on your device
<arno11>
that's really weird
<uvos>
maybe the build kernel in expiramental is old
<uvos>
Wizzup: ^^^
<Wizzup>
you can compare maemo-6.6.y
<Wizzup>
(sorry, I'll be avail fully again tomorrow)
<uvos>
Wizzup: maemo-6.6.y has perfectly fine opp table
