<jkkt> Libreelec freezing overnight on raspi 4, how to fix?
<mack> jkkt: sarcastic reply: find out what's causing the freeze. :)
<mack> but it's likely the SD card failing.
<jkkt> I see the screen but it's darkened out like when sleeping. I can't do anything though and I have a Bluetooth keyboard
<mack> other things I've seen make random freezes are 1) a failing, internittant USB device and 2) a failing, weak power supply.
<jkkt> Interesting
<jkkt> I could have the power supply problem
<jkkt> I'll try using another one
<mack> but like I said, the most likely is failing SD card.
<jkkt> How can I prevent that?
<mack> it's inevitable.
<MrTAP> try a wired non-BT keyboard and see if its just your BT sleeping or crashing
<jkkt> Ok
<mack> I'm assuming you've been using this setup for some time with no changes in my answers.

<mack> also, to expand on your question about SD card, you can move files/database to other media or the network, to reduce the read/write activity to the SD card.
<colo> jkkt, boot from USB mass storage instead
<jkkt> Ok
